 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and now from 2020 on - earned her acclaim. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub is also the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were both just two years old, emigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, because of the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit in her second year. She later obtained the GED and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
